Got my thyroid test results from the blood draw on Tuesday. All results came back in the "Normal" range. I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks this is normal should have to feel this for a while. Not to complain, and it's not like it's really bad, but this is not normal. I am tired, more so than normal, I am colder than normal, I am constipated, I'm losing more hair than normal, and let me say it again, I am tired.
The RE's office has decided to up my medication to get the TSH level back down to under 2.5 for trying to conceive (TTC.) My TSH reading is 3.39; under 5 or under 4.5 is "Normal". I have read that for TTC the TSH should be between 1 and 2, and when I conceived this time is was just under 1. So I am going to push for getting it under 2 (hopefully way under) when we test again in a couple of weeks.
I asked for the test on Tuesday. I am not sure when they had planned on having me tested - they didn't mention anything. This makes me really realize how I really have to be my own advocate and keep up on things. I like this office and this RE, but they are not Gods and I need to be proactive.
