Excitement - five pallets! We're getting a new lawn, so this is the Before...
...and this is the After! Very exciting even if it is not... (After looking at this photo several times I am dismayed by how fat I look. Not just a big butt but my arms look seriously thick. Ick!! Not a good photo of either T nor I. T picked out his outfit which includes a halloween shirt we got at a consignment sale for $.75. I don't really care for the shirt but have been making some concessions to him in what he wants to wear.)
...complete. Our lawn guy under erstimated by a lot as they were to do the whole backlawn too. It's going to be great when they are done and it is all growing.
Saturday morning, after a bunch of coloring, we all three headed out for our shots. T didn't do so well with his. We think he got scared seeing B's shot and could not be consoled that it wouldn't hurt.
T called this his face lunch - he said the hummus (that we made together) is his nose, the carrots his hair, the apples his arms when he waves them really fast, and the pita his legs.
Sunday soccer and a little time out. It was hot and only three of our team showed, but luckily the other team, with a whopping five (we usually have eight) lent us a little guy namebd Even. The teams then were able to play three on three with one sub.
Getting in the game... T has a tendency to hang back a bit, but he did score twice (or eleven if you listen to him).
"Good Game!" We didn't really keep score but think it might have been 9 - 0. Zoe (in gray at end of line) was on fire and got at least five of those goals.
Right after the game T and I drove to one of the neighboring towns to see the musical How I Became a Pirate. After the show we walked around the historic sqaure and into the middle park where there were a number of community made scarecrows.
