Today is day 32 of my cycle. I thought I would get my period around day 26. I used the second stick of the home pregnancy test I bought a couple weeks ago. The first stick I used on what I thought was five days before my missed period, or the day that the fertility pharmacy was going to charge me $0,000 for the drugs. That day it showed one line or negative so I didn't call and cancel the order. Now six days after my anticipated missed period it showed two lines or positive!!
The first line, the one that doesn't show if you aren't pregnant, was strong. The other one, the one that indicates you aren't pregnant was faint. The package says they can be different, though of course they didn't show this pattern. Could it be that all I needed was to spend a bunch of money on drugs to kick start my body?! Were we more relaxed? Did some of the other things I do make a difference? Is this a fluke? Will it last?? Oh please, oh, please, oh please!
So this would be an August or September baby [edit, yeah I can't count] - hard for school placement - either the youngest or the oldest in the class. Pregnancy through the heat of summer. Oh, please don't have this be an unhealthy future baby. Please don't have my miscarry! Please don't have this be chemical only... though I guess I am prepared if this is chemical.
So, off to call the fertility clinic to see what next step to take.
Oh, and yesterday T woke up and said he dreamed I was pregnant. :-)

Called the clinic and went in for a blood test. It is hard to stop smiling. Trying to be real, but... They should call with results later this afternoon. Fingers crossed, and toes, and...

It is confirmed! My BHCG (beta hcg?) is 3776 which Julie said is excellent!!!!
These numbers might be based on a 28 day cycle and I was a 26 day cycle this time (or so I thought and based on when I ovulated (approx).) So, I am to start oral progesterone, baby asperin, and prenatal vitamins. Woo hoo!
B and T were cryptic about their plans which made me think they were doing something special for me (like flowers.) Nope, B determined to get T a Buzz Lightyear! To Infinity and Beyond! T is very happy.
I haven't posted any of T's art in a very, very long time which is a shame since he brings soooo much home. Recently it has stopped being so many scribbles and blobs of color (It's a tornado! That's a rocket ship, It's a dinorsaur...um, sure, Love it!) to being much more representational of things most people will recognize:
T in a forest with flowers. Crayon on paper 10.8.10 A couple of days ago, in a fit, he ripped it off the refridgerator and tore it, but I saved it and taped it. The right edge was always cut, but the rips on the left are the new damage.
T with his dog. crayon on paper. 10.14.10
Design fo jack-o-lantern. crayon on paper. 10.18.10
Sky with rocks. crayon on paper 10.27.10
Tinkerbell. crayon on paper. 10.27.10
Tiger for pretend face painting for a friend. 10.28.10
We hope you enjoyed the show and will stop in for more!
Cody (5 last week), T (pants are crooked from trip to the bath), best friend Justyn (4 in mid-August - youngest in class), Jailyn (5 in December? Her Dad is basketball player tall and mom is tall too), Zora (5 in late Nov.) The kids are standing in the main part of the room. During meetings, circle, and roll call they all have to pick a square to sit on. They might have assigned squares, though I am not sure.
Although I suggested it, I was proad that T chose the lounge pants I made from one of B's t-shirts, and the waffle shirt I decorated for the last Valentines Day as his PJs for the day. I think he'll be super comfy, and have an easier time with these than with his tighter PJs - cute and comfy as they are.
The kids sign in each day. Until recenlty they signed in a part of their name each day working their way up to writing the full name (except those kids with easy names, like Ivy). T had two letters on Monday, Three on Tuesday... Now they are signing their full name each day. Eventually they will have to sign their last name as well. This area of the room is a little alcove with books, and a language lab area.
